Licenses

SooSL Web is free for anyone to use online. We don't allow most people to copy it, modify it, or make new programs from it. If you want to copy the SooSL website or modify it to use elsewhere, please contact us. We will explain what is involved.

SooSL Desktop is free, open source software. You can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.

The SooSL Demo Dictionary (ASL-English-Español-Français) is released under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. You may copy it freely for noncommercial use. You may make changes.

This help file is released under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. You may copy it freely for noncommercial use. You may not change it.

Offer of Source Code

If you want to adapt SooSL Web for use on a different website, please contact us.

You may obtain the complete Corresponding Source code for any version of SooSL Desktop from us for a period of three years following the release date of that version. Look for a download link on our website at https://soosl.net/software.html. (For Linux, you can find the source code in the .deb archive.)
